Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of this website and any purchase of products or services from Peridot Works (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By visiting the site, placing an order, or paying an invoice, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or place an order.

1) Ordering, Quotes & Deposits

• Quotes: Written quotes typically include scope, materials, finish, timeline estimate, and price. Quotes are valid for 10 calendar days unless stated otherwise.
• Custom Work: Most projects are made to order. Design confirmations (dimensions, finish, color, hardware) must be approved in writing before production.
• Deposits: A non-refundable materials deposit is required to secure your build slot. Once materials are purchased or production begins, deposits are non-refundable.
• Changes: Post-approval changes may impact price and timeline. We will provide a revised estimate for your approval.

2) Lead Times

Lead times depend on seasonality and complexity. We’ll share our best estimate, but estimates are not guarantees. Delays due to supply or design changes do not constitute breach of contract.

3) Pickup & Local Delivery

• Pre-assembled: Our furniture is delivered pre-assembled for strength and longevity.
• Availability: Orders are available for local pickup in Las Vegas or local delivery within Las Vegas and Pahrump.
• Scheduling: We’ll coordinate a pickup/delivery window. Missed or last-minute reschedules may incur a fee.
• Access: You are responsible for accurate access info (stairs, elevators, narrow halls). Additional manpower or special equipment may incur added charges.
• Risk of Loss: Risk transfers to you upon pickup or upon delivery to the address you provide (or to a person you designate to receive the goods).
• Storage: Completed orders not picked up within 14 days may accrue reasonable storage fees.

4) Inspection & Acceptance

Please inspect upon pickup/delivery. Note any visible issues at that time. If an issue arises after delivery, contact us within 3 calendar days with photos and a description so we can help assess.

5) Natural Materials & Finishes

• Wood is a natural material. Variations in grain, figure, small knots, seasonal movement, and color are normal and not defects.
• Stains and finishes can appear different under varied lighting and on different wood species or batches.
• Outdoor pieces weather over time. Even with protective finishes, exposure may cause changes; regular maintenance is recommended.

6) Dimensions & Site Measurements

We build to the approved dimensions. If you supply measurements, you are responsible for their accuracy and for ensuring the piece fits through all access points.

7) Pricing, Taxes & Payments

• Prices are in USD and may change until a quote is approved and the deposit is received.
• Applicable sales taxes are collected as required by law. If your jurisdiction requires use tax, you are responsible for compliance.
• We may accept card payments (e.g., via Stripe) and other methods listed at checkout or on invoices.
• If a refund is approved, third-party processing fees (e.g., non-refundable Stripe fees) may be deducted where applicable.

8) Returns, Cancellations & Refunds

• Custom orders are final sale. Cancellations after materials are purchased or production begins will forfeit the deposit and may incur additional costs for work performed.
• Ready-made items (if offered) may be eligible for return at our sole discretion if unused and in original condition within 7 days; delivery fees are non-refundable and return transport is your responsibility.
• Any approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method when possible.

9) Limited Warranty (Workmanship)

We stand behind our workmanship. For 30 days from delivery or pickup, we will address workmanship defects at our discretion by repair or reasonable replacement of affected components. This warranty does not cover normal wear, finish aging, misuse, improper maintenance, exposure to harsh environments, or damage after delivery/pickup.

10) Safety & Use

• Use furniture only for its intended purpose and within reasonable load limits.
• 3-D-printed accessories or protective components are for convenience and may have inherent limitations; avoid high heat, solvent exposure, or load beyond design intent.
• Secure items to walls or floors where appropriate to prevent tipping or injury, particularly in homes with children.

11) Intellectual Property

All content on this site—including text, photos, graphics, logos, and product designs—is owned by Peridot Works and/or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or use our content or designs without prior written permission.

12) User Content

If you submit reviews, photos, or feedback, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display that content for marketing and operational purposes, subject to our Privacy Policy.

13) Website Access & Acceptable Use

• You may not use the site for unlawful purposes, to interfere with operations, or to attempt to access non-public systems.
• We may update, suspend, or discontinue any part of the site without notice.

14) Disclaimers

EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY PROVIDED IN THESE TERMS, THE SITE, PRODUCTS, AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

15) Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, Peridot Works SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUE, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR PURCHASE OF PRODUCTS. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SPECIFIC PRODUCT OR SERVICE AT ISSUE.

16) Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Peridot Works from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising out of your breach of these Terms or misuse of the site or products.

17) Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including supply-chain disruptions, extreme weather, accidents, or labor shortages.

18) Governing Law & Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. You agree that the state and federal courts located in Clark County, Nevada shall have exclusive jurisdiction and venue.

19) Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the site or placement of orders after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
